At their Hyderabad location, Google is looking to hire an experienced Product Manager, Payments Risk. In this position, you will connect the business and technical domains to steer products from conception to launch through cross-functional work. Complex issues can be divided into manageable steps that guide the creation of new products.

Responsibilities:
1. Formulate a plan to reduce the risk of payments on Google products, with an emphasis on partners, operations, tooling, and ongoing enhancements, as well as the impact on the risk-ML workflow.
2. Manage product launches by designing products and solutions for all business processes reducing risk, and customer impact with increased efficiency.
3. Be prepared for a changing payments environment and new laws that may affect the obligations of the Payments Risk product. Enable products and/or corrective actions.
To drive the product strategy and roadmap for the Risk Platform, collaborate closely with the risk, partner engineering and data science teams, risk operations, analytics, and executives of important vertical customers.
4. Interpret/Develop the latest innovations in managing Payments Risk and how they can be applied to Google’s business objectives. Provide thought leadership and deep product and technical expertise in Risk Management domain.
Minimum Educational qualifications For Product Manager:
4 years of experience in software product management with
Experience developing Internet products and technologies.
Preferred Educational qualifications For Product Manager:
– 3 years of experience managing medium-to-large complex projects involving numerous stakeholders and cross-functional teams, utilizing ML, operations, and outside vendors in the payment, financial, and tooling development domains.
– 3 years of experience in trust and safety/risk management.
– Knowledge and proficiency with tools, machine learning human labeling, or system abstraction layers.
– Experience gained from employment in the payment industry (banks, networks, issuers, processors)
– experience working for a risk management vendor combined with knowledge of core risk and payments infrastructure, data, tools, systems, and workflows.
– Strong analytical, organizational, problem-solving, and persuasive abilities. Demonstrated capacity for thought leadership and fostering fruitful connections.
