Essential Criteria of Combined Merit Scholarship 2023

Educational Qualification: To apply for the scholarship, students need 60% marks in the following exams:

# Higher Secondary for UG course in Combined Merit Degree Scholarship scheme.

# General Degree Course for PG course in Combined Merit Master Degree Scholarship scheme.

Course & Session: Eligible students are those in 1st semester of General Degree or Master Degree in Arts/ Science/ Commerce in any college or university of Assam for 2023 – 2024.

Resident: The student must be from Assam.

Bank Account: The students must have their own bank account (SBI preferred) and give the details with the application.

Scholarship Disbursement: The scholarship will be paid through DBT system.

Qualification: The candidate must have the required qualification from a recognized institution.

Selection Process: Selection will be based on merit basis.

Essential Documents to be submitted with DHE Scholarship Application 2023

Following documents are to be submitted with online application form –

 1. Photograph and Signature.

2. Aadhaar Card.

3. Final mark sheet of last qualifying examinations (i.e. H.S./UG.).

4. Photo copy of 1st page of active bank account.

# Certificate from the Registrar/ Head of the Institution in which the candidate is at present studying (mandatory).

NB : Upon completing the online application form, please ensure to obtain a hardcopy, which should be subsequently submitted, along with the requisite copies of certificates and documents, to the appropriate Registrar, Principal, or Head of your educational institution.
A designated committee, operating at the college or university level, will meticulously review and authenticate the application form and accompanying documents in accordance with the stipulated guidelines and directives. Following a thorough verification process, the concerned Registrar, Principal, or Head of the institution should submit the duly validated online application form, accompanied by all pertinent certificates and documents, along with a statement to the Office of the Directorate of Higher Education, Assam, located at Kahilipara, Guwahati-781019. This submission must bear the official seal and signature and should be completed no later than the 7th of December, 2023.
