Eligibility Criteria for DEE LP UP Teacher Recruitment
Nationality: Candidates must be Permanent Residents of Assam.
Age Limit: 18 to 40 years as of January 1, 2023.
Age Relaxation:
- Ex-Servicemen: 2 years
- OBC/MOBC: 3 years

Senior Secondary with minimum 50% marks and 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education.
Assistant Teacher (UP):
Graduate from a UGC recognized University with a 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education or B.Ed. or D.Ed. (Special Education) or B.Ed. (Special Education).
Science Teacher (UP):
B.Sc. from a UGC recognized University with similar educational qualifications as Assistant Teacher (UP).
Hindi Teacher (UP):
Graduate with Hindi as one of the subjects from a UGC recognized University with similar educational qualifications as Assistant Teacher (UP).
