- Position Title: Assistant Loco Pilot (ALP)

Pay Scale : Aligned with Level 02 of the 7th CPC Pay Matrix,
Application Fee: Candidates are required to submit an application fee based on their category:
- SC/ST/Ex-Serviceman/PWDs/Female/Transgender/Minorities/Economically Backward Class: Rs. 250 (Refundable after deducting applicable bank charges post the First Stage CBT)

Eligibility Criteria for RRB ALP Recruitment 2024
Age Limit : Candidates must be between 18 to 30 years of age as of July 1, 2024.

Educational Qualification:
Option A: Matriculation / SSLC plus ITI from recognised institutions of NCVT/SCVT in the trades of Fitter, Electrician, Instrument Mechanic, Millwright Maintenance Mechanic, Mechanic Radio & TV, Electronics Mechanic , Mechanic Motor Vehicle, Wireman, Tractor Mechanic, Armature and Coil Winder, Mechanic Diesel, Heat Engine, Turner, Machinist, Refrigeration and Air-conditioning Mechanic. OR Matriculation / SSLC plus Course Completed Act Apprenticeship in the trades mentioned above. OR
Option B: Completion of Course Apprenticeship in the mentioned trades or possession of a 3-year Diploma in Mechanical/Electrical/Electronics/Automobile Engineering.
Note: Engineering degrees can substitute for diplomas.
