Under this program, the manual issuance of caste certificates has been replaced by a digital process, making it convenient for students. Now, students can submit online applications for Scheduled Caste Certificate, Scheduled Tribe (Hills) Certificate, Scheduled Tribe (Plains) Certificate, and OBC/MOBC Certificate through the Mission Bhumiputra portal.

Eligibility Criteria for Mission Bhumiputra:

2. Transparent, Digital & Fast Application Process:
– Certificates are available in the Digi locker under the IT Act, digitally signed by the respective Deputy Commissioners.
– If the father’s caste certificate is genuine and enclosed, the certificate is issued instantly.
– Any required inquiry must be completed within 30 days, extendable by another 15 days in exceptional cases.
– Details of all issued certificates are available for public view.
3. Special Drive:
– A special drive is initiated to issue caste certificates.
– Initially, it covers students of Class IX-XII.
– Deputy Commissioners provide application formats for caste certificates to educational institutions’ Headmasters.
– Certificates are distributed through principals/headmasters.

3. Register by selecting the “New Account” option.
4. After successful registration, log in using your Username and Password.
5. Click on “New Application” and complete the application form with all required information.

7. Submit your application and retain the acknowledgment copy for reference.
